Taste Atlas, a travel online guide for traditional food, released the list of 40 Best-rated Herbs/Spices in the World recently. Here are some of the top rated herbs and spices from the list. 

Kalocsai Fűszerpaprika-őrlemény- Hungary

It has a sweet, fruity taste with a higher capsaicin content. These unique peppers are used in stews, eggs, fish, pasta potatoes and in marinades for roasted meat.

Garam Masala- India

An intensely aromatic blend of ground spices such as cinnamon, cumin, cloves, and cardamom, it is used most in Northern India to bring heat to the food.

Pimentón de la Vera- Spain

It is a smoked paprika made by grinding dried peppers into a fragrant, spicy and smoky powder. It helps intensify the flavour and colour of any dish.
