'Campus Diaries' tops the list! Check out IMDb's top 10 Indian web shows of 2022 so far

Half of 2022 is already gone and it's time when we look back at the year bygone. In the first seven months, we have a bunch of big releases on the OTT platform specifically, and like always - some shows were criticised by critics, but at the same time, got tremendous love from the audience & vice versa.

The Internet Movie Database  or IMDb, which is one of the most trusted sites and the one on which most of the population relies when it comes to questions - what to watch? and which one is the best?. On Wednesday, the site released the data of the top 10 most popular Indian web shows of this year. So, without wasting much time check out the top 10 shows of the OTT platform, and binge-watch, if haven't yet. 

Believe it or not, coming-of-age dramas are everyone's favourite and there are a bunch of stuff with the same plot on the OTT platform, but this year, the 'Campus Diaries' won our hearts! 

The show has become the highest-rated show on IMDb with a rating of 9.0. 

The fun-filled series revolves around the life of six college students - all from different backgrounds, who come under one roof and together they lough, live and fight against all the teenage life issues. 

Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh starrer much-acclaimed series ‘Rocket Boys’ is again soaring high.

The series which is based on the life of Dr Homi Jehangir Bhabha and Dr Vikram Ambalal was ranked in the second spot with 8.9 rating. 

Ths show is streaming on Sony Liv.

The much-loved show 'Panchayat' took the third spot on the list. After the first season, the second created the same buzz as well. Jeetendra Kumar starred show has been given an 8.9 rating. 

The show is streaming on Amazon Prime. 

After the massive success of part first, Arunoday Singh's returned this year with the second season, and this one again enthralled the audience with sharp shooting, cop chase and more. 

Taking the fourth spot, the show got 8.4 rating.

Shefali Shah and Kirti Kulhari deserve all the praise for their stellar performance in this gripping drama ‘Human'.

The show which was released in January and is streaming on Disney plus Hotstar. 

The thriller drama on people's addiction to the virtual world, social media and the powerful cast including Siddharth, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Shweta Tripathi will keep the audience hooked in every frame of the nine-part series. 

The show is streaming on Hotstar. 

 

From a high-profile murder case to a political scam, Prateek Gandhi's 'The Great Indian Murder' was the winner. 

Despite mixed reviews, the show also starring Richa Chadda, attracted the audience with a gripping screenplay. 

The show got 7. 3 IMDb rating and is streaming on Disney plus Hotstar.

'Mai' is just another great example of Sakshi Tanwar's extraordinary talent. In the show, Sakshi is playing a role of a grieving mother, who has lost her young daughter and is doing everything to find the real truth behind her daughter's mysterious death. 

The show gets a 7.2 rating. 

Madhuri Dixit's come-back show 'The Fame Game' took us to the troubled life of a celebrated actor Anamika (played by Madhuri), who just goes missing one day. 

 

The most thrilling drama of this year we can say is Netflix's 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein'. The show with a stellar cast of Tahir Raj Bhasin, Shweta Tripathi, and Anchal Singh will keep you hooked with its genre-bending storyline.
