Happy birthday Jungkook! Lesser-known facts about BTS' youngest member

Today, ARMY is celebrating the birthday of the most popular BTS member Jungkook.

Born in Busan, South Korea, Jeon Jungkook needs no introduction, millions of people are his huge fans and all thanks go to his cute looks and impeccable talent. Today, the BTS' youngest boy has turned a year older, so on his special day, we bring you lesser known about your favourite K-Pop band member, that you should know!

Jungkook is the youngest member of the band. Jeon Jung-kook, born in Busan, was just a 15-year-old boy when he joined the band. But did you know how he got into the band, the back story I mean? Actually, he first auditioned for Super Star K's Season 3 in 2011, where he got rejected. However, his impeccable talent attracted other agencies who quickly decided to hire him. Out of many one was a BIG hit entertainment, to which he said yes, and the rest is history. 

 

We agree about it or not, but everyone loves to fantasize. And, like all of us, Jungkook did dream, but instead of becoming a singing sensation, he saw himself becoming a sports legend.
When he was a young child living with his family in Busan, South Korea, Jungkook wanted to become a badminton player. 

After getting rejected from a talent show Superstar K's third season, Jungkook attracted many talent agencies who wanted to hire the young star as their singer. He got offers from many big agencies, but why did he say yes to Big Hit Entertainment only, the reason was RM. 

During his interview with Rolling Stones, Junjkook said that he found RM, the BTS leader, kind of cool and he found RM's rapping very awesome. 

“When I saw [RM] rap, I just thought he was really, really cool and awesome,” he said. 

Not just with his singing or dancing, BTS' Jungkook can make you say wow with his taekwondo kicks and punches. He's a trained taekwondo player and holds a black belt. 

 

Jungkook is a big fan of Iron Man. BTS' most popular member has a soft corner for Marvel's Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr in the MCU films.

Many times we have seen him donning Iron Man accessories, whether it was her mobile cover or shoes. Even, once he was seen playing with the Iron Man toy.  

 

Apart from singing and dancing, Jungkook has a hidden talent for photography and videography. He has his own travel series known as Golden Closet Films, which he filmed in US and Japan, reportedly.
