IPL 2022 final: Players to watch out for in Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals clash

Gujarat Titans will take on Rajasthan Royals in the summit clash of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. While GT have reached the final in their debut season, a win for Rajasthan Royals will mean a second title for them after the inaugural season in 2008.

Hardik Pandya has led Gujarat Titans by example this season with 453 runs in 14 matches at an average of 45.30. The all-rounder has also bowled regularly for his side and has also taken five wickets.

Jos Buttler has been the most successful batsman in this year's IPL with four centuries to his name. The England international has scored 824 runs till now and will be very important for his team's chances in the final.

The South Africa international has cemented his position as the finisher for Gujarat Titans with a strike rate of 141.19. Miller has scored 449 runs till now with the help of two half centuries.

With 444 runs in 16 matches, Sanju Samson may not have scored a lot of runs in comparison to other top batters but his strike rate of 147.51 has been instrumental in boosting the score for Rajasthan Royals in the middle overs.

Rashid Khan has already taken 18 wickets in this season but his economy rate of 6.74 has also been equally impressive. On the Ahmedabad pitch which assists spinners, the Afghanistan bowler can turn out to be a trump card for Gujarat Titans.

The former Royal Challengers Bangalore cricketer has been a star for his new team and with 26 wickets, he has played a major role in taking Rajasthan Royals to the IPL 2022 final.
