IPL 2024 Auction: Here is the full list of retained players of all teams after retention deadline day -
The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises released the list of players retained as the deadline ended on Sunday (Nov 26). There were some big names like Jofra Archer from Mumbai Indians and Ben Stokes from Chennai Super Kings who were released by the teams as the ten franchises gear up for the player auction. Throughout the retention deadline day, Hardik Pandya made maximum noise as he was traded to his previous franchise MI after Gujarat Titans (GT) had initially retained him. Now, all the focus is on the mini-auction to be held next month.
The mini-auction is scheduled to be held on Dec 19 overseas in Dubai - a first for the IPL since its inception in 2008. Ahead of the forthcoming auction proceedings, here is a list of retained players for all the ten franchises -

It is to be noted that the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are the richest team going into the mini-auction -- with 40.75 crore (407.5 million) -- followed by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), with 34 crore or 340 million. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), with 32.7 crore or 327 million, and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), with 31.4 crore or 314 million, come next.
