The episode's tagline is 'There's no place like Ladakh'. Ladakh is a newly minted Union territory, and this episode of Traveller focuses on Ladakh's allure as a destination, and the elements that make it unique. While Meraj sets out on an epic road journey from New Delhi to Leh, Johan chooses to take the picturesque flight. Once they arrive, they explore the markets, walk in the Old Town, visit the donkey sanctuary, meet the local ‘medicine man’, and undertake a short ride to the Chemrey Gompa, a Buddhist monastery built-in 1664. It concludes with the Aryan Festival that shows the diversity, and for lack of a better word, exotic nature of the region.

In Preet Nagar, an atmospheric enclave on the suburbs of Amritsar in Punjab, Meraj and Johan spend a weekend at what was once a creative commune where artists, musicians, and intellectuals co-habited. Meraj learns how to make pickle and pinnis while Johan learns how to fly a kite.

On board India's first premium cruise liner, the Jalesh Karnika, on its maiden commercial voyage from Mumbai to Goa and back, Meraj and Johan get a taste of the good life on the high seas. On this floating luxury hotel, they catch a show by the internationally acclaimed variety act — Cameo Rascale; stuff themselves silly with hors d'oeuvres at fine-dining restaurants; lounge about on deck, and even break into a jig at an evening concert. On the Karnika, Meraj and Johan discover that there's nothing quite like finding your sea legs.
